Teammates.aiAutonomous AI agents that handle business tasks around the clock

5.0 (5)

Overview

Teammates.ai offers autonomous AI agents designed to take on recurring business workflows without constant human oversight. Each agent can be configured for a specific role, allowing teams to offload tasks like outreach, customer support, research, or operations to a digital workforce that runs 24/7. The platform positions these agents as virtual hires rather than simple chatbots, with the ability to plan, execute multi-step actions, and interact with tools and data sources. This makes it suitable for small teams looking to scale output without expanding headcount, as well as larger organizations automating repetitive functions.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and agents handle multi-step tasks autonomously. Role-based AI agents fits neatly into how we already work, and autonomous task execution removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on multi-step workflow handling, and covers multiple business functions in one platform caught me off guard. Pricing and ROI vary by use case is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Q&A

How do AI teammates differ from ChatGPT and LLMs?

ChatGPT waits for prompts and gives answers. AI teammates take initiative and complete work. They integrate with your CRM, helpdesk, and calendar — then act inside those systems autonomously. They remember context across conversations, follow your business rules, and continuously improve from feedback. ChatGPT assists; AI teammates deliver outcomes.

What tasks can an AI sales agent automate?

Adam handles inbound and outbound sales, 24/7. He responds to website leads within seconds, makes outbound calls to cold prospects, qualifies leads through conversation, books meetings on your team's calendar, and updates your CRM automatically. Think of an SDR who works every timezone, never misses a follow-up, and hands your closers only qualified opportunities.

How does an AI customer service agent automate support?

Raya resolves customer issues across phone, email, chat, WhatsApp, and social media in 50+ languages. She's not a FAQ bot — she processes refunds, updates orders, looks up account details, and only escalates issues that genuinely need human judgment. Your team gets full context when they pick up, so customers never repeat themselves.

How does an AI interviewer screen candidates?

Sara conducts live video interviews with natural voice conversation with every candidate in 50+ languages. She asks role-specific questions, follows up based on answers, and scores each response against your custom rubric. Results include ranked candidate lists, per-question breakdowns, and hire/no-hire recommendations. Your recruiters review structured reports instead of sitting through first-round screens.

Under 10 minutes for basic setup. OAuth connects your tools instantly, our models are pre-trained, and core workflows activate immediately. Most teams are handling real customer interactions, sales calls, or candidate interviews within an hour of signing up. Advanced customization happens over your first week as you refine escalation rules, add playbooks, and train on your specific use cases.
