Where AI teams are building

This map plots the AI agents and tools in our directory by where their teams are actually based — not where their servers happen to run. Every pin is a real company, sourced from public company records, structured data on their own website, or details they gave us directly when submitting their tool.

The picture that emerges is a useful counterweight to the usual narrative that AI development is concentrated in one or two cities. While hubs like San Francisco and London still cluster the most pins, the map fills in fast with teams in Berlin, Bengaluru, São Paulo, Warsaw, Singapore, and dozens of smaller markets — proof that shipping a genuinely useful AI product no longer requires being anywhere in particular.

Coverage is intentionally partial rather than guessed. We only place a pin when a tool exposes a real, structured location signal — things like a postal address in its site metadata or a documented office listing — so a blank region says more about disclosure than about absence of activity. As more teams add location details to their profiles, the map fills in further.

Use the region badges above the map to jump between continents, or zoom and pan freely to explore a specific city or country. Clicking a pin opens that tool's profile, where you can read reviews, compare pricing, and see how it stacks up against similar agents in its category.
