Solid for our team
We rolled this out across the team last quarter and works inside common IDEs without disrupting workflow. Code explanation and documentation generation fits neatly into how we already work, and custom AI agents trained on your context removed a step we used to do by hand. Custom agent setup has a learning curve, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
Years in this space
I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is custom AI agents trained on your context — handled better than most — and customizable agents tuned to your own codebase. Worth the time if this is your use case.

What is AI auto-complete?
AI auto-complete is an intelligent code completion feature that predicts and suggests entire lines or blocks of code as you type in your IDE. It understands your codebase context, coding patterns, and project structure to provide relevant suggestions in real-time, dramatically speeding up your development workflow and reducing repetitive typing.
Asked by Umar Farooq · Feb 5, 2026
Can I use AWS, Azure, or GCP?
Yes! CodeGPT integrates seamlessly with AWS Bedrock, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, and Google Cloud Platform's Vertex AI. You can use your existing cloud infrastructure and AI services, ensuring compliance with your organization's security policies and data residency requirements. For enterprise needs, we also support self-hosted deployments in your own cloud environment.
