Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on aI-assisted code generation, and visual canvas suits non-linear thinking caught me off guard. Canvas paradigm has a learning curve is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

    Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: downloadable, shareable artwork and supports a range of anime styles and characters. Where it lags: output quality depends heavily on prompt skill. On balance the feature set — especially multiple anime style presets — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

    Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is self-hosted deployment option — handled better than most — and transparent and extensible architecture. Worth the time if this is your use case.

    Does the job

Pretty happy overall. The core workflow just works and the value for money is strong. A few rough edges remain can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

    Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: runs in the menu bar with low overhead and one-shortcut capture from any Mac app. Where it lags: limited to Todoist as a destination. On balance the feature set — especially quick configuration of Todoist account and shortcut — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
