Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and beginner-friendly workflow. Web interface fits neatly into how we already work, and text-to-image generation removed a step we used to do by hand. Limited advanced controls compared to pro tools, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is image-to-image transformation — handled better than most — and beginner-friendly workflow. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on free access tier, and free to use caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Q&A

Is this AI image generator free to use?

Yes. New accounts get 100 free credits at signup — no credit card required — enough to test the models and find what works for your project. When you need more, one-time credit packs and monthly subscriptions are available; see the pricing page for current rates.

How do I write a prompt that gets good results?

Be specific about subject, style, lighting, and mood. "A red sports car" gets a generic result. "A red Ferrari on a coastal road at golden hour, cinematic wide shot, shallow depth of field" gets something closer to what you're picturing. Three habits that help: describe what you want rather than what you don't want; name a visual style or reference ("watercolor", "studio photography", "isometric 3D"); include the mood or atmosphere. The Prompt Examples section on this page shows real prompts and real outputs — use them as a starting point.

What is the difference between Text to Image and Image to Image?

Text to Image creates a new image from a written description — nothing to upload, just type and generate. Image to Image starts from a photo you provide and changes it based on your instructions: restyle it, swap the background, change colors, or reimagine the scene. You can switch between the two modes in the same generator without losing your prompt or settings.

Asked by Aisha Khan · Oct 28, 2025

Which AI model should I pick?

Start with Z-Image Turbo — the fastest (2–5 seconds) and lowest-cost option, good for testing ideas quickly. Switch to GPT Image 2 when you need the highest quality or readable text inside the image. Use Nano Banana 2 for precise instruction-based edits where you want one specific thing changed while the rest stays the same. Choose Seedream 4.5 for photorealistic product shots, food photography, or lifestyle scenes. Try the same prompt across two models to find which style fits your project.

Asked by Celia Ramirez · Oct 19, 2025

How long does a generation take?

Z-Image Turbo: 2–5 seconds. Nano Banana 2: 5–15 seconds. Seedream 4.5: 10–30 seconds. GPT Image 2: ~15 seconds (Low), ~60 seconds (Medium), ~2 minutes (High). All run asynchronously — you can queue multiple generations or switch tabs without losing your results.
