Overview

Spot AI is a video intelligence platform that layers artificial intelligence on top of existing or new surveillance cameras, converting raw footage into searchable, actionable data. It helps organizations monitor facilities, investigate incidents, and identify operational issues without manually scrubbing through hours of video. The system combines cloud-managed dashboards with on-site hardware, offering features like smart search, real-time alerts, and analytics across people, vehicles, and activity. Beyond traditional security use cases, teams in manufacturing, retail, logistics, and education use it to improve safety, productivity, and process compliance. With integrations into communication and workflow tools, Spot AI aims to make video a proactive resource rather than a passive recording archive.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Real-time incident alerts just works and real-time alerts and notifications. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. People and vehicle detection analytics just works and real-time alerts and notifications. Subscription pricing can scale with cameras can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Compatible with existing IP camera systems is exactly what I needed, and works with existing IP cameras. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on cloud dashboard for multi-site monitoring, and fast AI-powered video search caught me off guard. Subscription pricing can scale with cameras is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is cloud dashboard for multi-site monitoring — handled better than most — and useful beyond security for operations. Requires on-premise hardware appliance is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Q&A

Is Spot AI secure and compliant?

Yes. Spot AI is SOC 2 Type II, NDAA-compliant, and HIPAA-aligned.

Asked by Beatriz Costa · Dec 19, 2025

What can the AI agents be used for?

Live security deterrence, operations and manufacturing optimization, safety and SOP compliance — and with Iris, Spot AI's conversational agent, you can ask any camera a question in plain language, spot trends and patterns, and get automatic reports, all without reviewing raw footage yourself.

Asked by Kirsi Laine · Dec 13, 2025

Do I need to replace my cameras?

No. Spot AI is camera-agnostic — it works with the IP cameras you already have, so there's no rip-and-replace required. If you do need new cameras, we can connect you with one of our certified hardware partners.

Asked by Gabriel Duarte · Dec 8, 2025

How does the AI agent work?

It streams every camera 24/7 but surfaces only the moments that matter, reasons about what it sees against the rules and SOPs you set, then automatically triggers the right response — a talk-down, an alert, or a scorecard.

Asked by Tatiana Popescu · Nov 1, 2025

What does Spot AI do?

Spot AI turns the cameras you already have into AI teammates — a team of agents that see what's happening, reason about it against your goals or SOPs, and act in real time across security, safety, and operations.
