Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is workflow automation — handled better than most — and saves time on routine email replies. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Inbox prioritization just works and summarizes long threads quickly. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on workflow automation, and saves time on routine email replies caught me off guard. Limited usefulness for highly sensitive communications is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and saves time on routine email replies. Personalized tone matching fits neatly into how we already work, and quick reply suggestions removed a step we used to do by hand. Limited usefulness for highly sensitive communications, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Q&A

What is an AI email assistant?

An AI email assistant uses AI to handle the work your inbox creates — reading incoming email, triaging what matters, drafting and sending replies, and tracking follow-ups. Basic assistants help you write faster. Serif goes further: it runs the inbox like an employee, answering the routine majority on its own and bringing you only what needs a human.

Asked by Damian Wysocki · May 6, 2026

Does Serif work with Gmail and Outlook?

Yes. Serif connects to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 through their official APIs — your personal inbox or shared addresses like info@ and support@ — or you can give Serif an address of its own. Nothing about your email setup changes.

Asked by Wolfgang Krause · Apr 20, 2026

Will it sound like me?

Yes. Serif learns from emails you've already sent, so it picks up your tone, your phrasing, and how you talk to different people. Most customers can't tell the difference. Yours won't either.

Asked by Olga Ivanova · Apr 1, 2026

What if it doesn't know the answer?

It asks you. Serif doesn't guess with your customers. When a question is new, it brings it to you, you answer once, and it handles that question itself from then on.

Asked by Faisal Rahman · Mar 15, 2026

I am not technical. Is this for me?

Yes. There's nothing to build and nothing to configure. Setup is guided step by step, you start from a pretrained employee that already knows your industry, and you teach it by talking to it like a person. And if you'd rather skip even that, our team will train it for you.
