Overview

Segwise is a marketing analytics platform built for mobile game and app teams that want to get more from their user acquisition spend. It connects to mobile measurement partner (MMP) data and uses AI to surface the campaigns, creatives, and audience segments that are quietly draining budget or driving outsized returns. Instead of forcing UA managers to dig through dashboards, Segwise automatically flags anomalies, performance drops, and optimization opportunities across channels. Teams get clear, prioritized alerts about what is working, what is breaking, and where to reallocate spend to improve ROAS. The tool is aimed at growth, UA, and analytics teams running paid campaigns at scale who need faster diagnosis and decision-making without expanding headcount.

Key features

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: anomaly and issue detection alerts and reduces manual dashboard analysis. Where it lags: value scales with ad spend volume. On balance the feature set — especially cross-channel UA performance tracking — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Cross-channel UA performance tracking is exactly what I needed, and works directly with existing MMP data. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Anomaly and issue detection alerts just works and automated detection of ROAS issues. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is creative and campaign-level insights — handled better than most — and automated detection of ROAS issues. Value scales with ad spend volume is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Q&A

Will Segwise actually help me ship more winning creatives?

Yes, and that's the whole point of it. Segwise ties every creative element (hooks, formats, messaging) to metrics like spend, ROAS, CPA, and LTV, so you can see what's actually driving results instead of guessing. Then the Creative Generation Agent makes new creatives from those winning patterns, and once they're live it tracks them automatically, so what you ship feeds the next round. The loop from 'what worked' to 'here's the next one' gets a lot shorter.

Asked by Tunde Balogun · Apr 9, 2026

Does Segwise only analyze creatives, or can it generate new ones too?

Both. The Creative Generation Agent makes net-new creatives, not just tweaks of old ones, across static, video, and playable formats. It remixes the winning creative elements from your top performers, writes video storyboards, and lets you even edit concepts and creatives by prompting. Everything it builds is grounded in your own performance data, so you're confidently scaling what already works instead of starting from a blank page.

Asked by Naomi Suzuki · Mar 27, 2026

How is this different from manual tagging or the dashboards I already have?

Manual tagging is slow and can be inconsistent, and most BI dashboards expect you to do the analysis yourself. Segwise's Creative Tagging Agent watches and auto-tags every creative element in your ads across platforms, then connects those tags to performance data. The Creative Strategy Agent then lets you query your data across platforms down to a tag level, not just the campaign or creative performance. It's also the only tool that tags playable ads if you're in gaming.

Asked by Omar Haddad · Mar 12, 2026

How accurate is the AI for my creatives, even if they are niche?

It's built for variety with accuracy in mind. The multimodal AI can consume video, audio, image, and text together and then tag elements including hooks, CTAs, characters, emotions, products, visual styles and more. If something is specific to your game, app, or brand, you can add custom tags for that. Segwise also enriches your creative tag values to keep all tags consistent and accurate for your brand.

Asked by Ahmed Saleh · Feb 28, 2026

Which ad networks and data sources does it connect to?

Segwise supports connections with 15+ ad networks plus MMPs and your own data. On the network side that includes Meta, Google, TikTok, AppLovin/Axon, Unity, Mintegral, Moloco, Reddit, LinkedIn and more; on the MMP side, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, and Singular. It's OAuth-based and no-code, so most teams have their stack connected in minutes with no engineering effort required.
