Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Team collaboration and assignments is exactly what I needed, and aI-generated action plans from goals. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and aI-generated action plans from goals. AI assistant for planning guidance fits neatly into how we already work, and team collaboration and assignments removed a step we used to do by hand. Learning curve for teams new to OKR-style planning, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: impact-based task prioritization and aI-generated action plans from goals. Where it lags: learning curve for teams new to OKR-style planning. On balance the feature set — especially progress tracking and dashboards — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Q&A

Do my clients need a Plansom account to view the plan?

No. Shared plans are fully accessible via a link — no login, no signup required. Your client clicks the link and sees the complete execution plan immediately.

Asked by Devin Walker · May 1, 2026

What types of documents can I upload?

Almost anything. AI Plan accepts PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, images, plain text, Markdown and CSV files — up to 5 files and 20MB per plan. Call notes, proposals, strategy documents, briefs, emails saved as PDFs — if the information is in the document, AI Plan will extract it.

Asked by Halime Yalcin · May 1, 2026

Is Plansom just another way to track tasks?

No. Task tracking is a means, not an end. Plansom is built around outcomes — every plan includes success metrics that define what winning looks like, and AI reporting tells you when you have got there. Goals have named owners and deadlines. Bottleneck alerts warn you before things slip. The aim is not a tidy task list — it is a result delivered.

Asked by Yuki Kobayashi · Apr 6, 2026

How is Plansom different from a project management tool?

Most tools tell you what is happening. Plansom tells you whether you are winning. Every plan is built around goals with defined success criteria, not just tasks with statuses. AI reporting tracks outcomes automatically, bottleneck alerting flags problems before they escalate and success metrics tell you when the work is genuinely done.

How long does it take to get started?

Upload a document and you have a shareable execution plan in 60 seconds. There is no configuration, no onboarding session and no integration required to get your first plan out the door.
