Is this breeding calculator updated for Palworld 1.0?

Yes. Every result comes from the revised Palworld 1.0 combination table - 299 Pals including the Terraria collab creatures, all 164 special breeding combinations, and the 28 Pals that only breed true. Early Access combos that changed in 1.0 are already corrected here, and we re-verify the data whenever Pocketpair ships new Pals.

How do I find the child of two Pals?

Select Find the Child, then pick Parent A and Parent B by name or Paldeck number. The child species appears instantly. Parent order does not matter, and because the 1.0 formula is deterministic, the same pair always produces the same species.

What changed about breeding in Palworld 1.0?

Palworld 1.0 launched on July 10, 2026 and rebuilt breeding from the ground up. Pocketpair’s release notes state that the breeding combination table was completely revised to match game progression, and more than 70 new Pals were inserted into the breeding order. The practical consequence: combos memorized from Early Access - or copied from a chart that has not been updated - will quietly steer you wrong. Every result on this page comes from current 1.0 data only.

How do I breed a specific Pal in Palworld 1.0?

Select Find the Parents and choose your target. The calculator lists every parent combination that produces it - often dozens or hundreds. Pick the pair closest to what you already own, assign a male and a female to a Breeding Farm with Cake, and hatch the egg.

What are special breeding combinations?

Palworld 1.0 has 164 fixed combinations that override the normal breeding formula - for example Relaxaurus + Sparkit = Relaxaurus Lux. Most subspecies variants can only be obtained through these hardcoded pairs, and this calculator includes every one of them.

Does Mutation change which species I get?

Accepted Answer

No. Mutation is a low-chance bonus that gives the child higher base stats and a unique passive skill, but the species always follows the normal combination result shown in this calculator. Deluxe Vegetable Cake raises the mutation odds.

What do I need to breed Pals in the game?

Accepted Answer

A Breeding Farm (Technology level 19 - 10 Wooden Boards, 20 Stone, 50 Fiber), one male and one female of your chosen pair, Cake in the farm chest, and an Egg Incubator to hatch the egg.

Can the Terraria collab Pals breed?

Accepted Answer

As parents, yes - Slimes, the Enchanted Sword, Cave Bats and the Eye of Cthulhu all breed with regular Pals and follow the normal formula. But collab creatures never hatch from a standard mixed pair, so you cannot breed your way into one from ordinary Pals.

Why does my pair keep producing the same gender?

Accepted Answer

Each species has a fixed male/female probability. Most sit near 50/50, but some skew hard in one direction, so hatching several eggs of the same gender in a row is normal - keep hatching, or catch a wild specimen of the missing gender to complete the pair.

Does this calculator plan passive skills or IVs?

Accepted Answer

This tool focuses on species results: which child a pair produces and which pairs produce a target. Passive inheritance is probability-based - about 24% for two inherited skills, 12% for three, 10% for four - so no calculator can promise a passive outcome; it can only tell you the species.

Can I still fuse tower bosses like Faleris or Grizzbolt?

No. Palworld 1.0 removed mixed-pair fusions for tower bosses. Faleris, Shadowbeak, Grizzbolt, Orserk and Lyleen now breed the way legendaries always have: you need two of the same species to produce one. The old Early Access fusion recipes are gone.
