Solid for our team
We rolled this out across the team last quarter and accurate transcription across common meeting platforms. Shareable post-meeting reports fits neatly into how we already work, and shareable post-meeting reports removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.
Use it every day
Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. AI-generated summaries by role is exactly what I needed, and automatic action item detection and assignment. I do wish requires trust in storing meeting data in the cloud, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: integrations with calendars and task tools and role-specific summaries reduce noise. Where it lags: requires trust in storing meeting data in the cloud. On balance the feature set — especially aI-generated summaries by role — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
Skeptical, then convinced
I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on automatic action item extraction, and saves time on manual note-taking caught me off guard. Accuracy can drop with heavy accents or overlap is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
Q&A
Will Acta accurately transcribe meetings with participants who have strong accents or talk over each other?
The tool provides accurate transcription for typical meeting speech, but its accuracy may decrease with heavy accents or overlapping dialogue, which is noted as a limitation for heavily accented or noisy conversations.

What integrations does Acta offer for exporting action items to my existing task tools?

The integration is designed to push items directly into the workflow you already use.

How does Acta handle role‑specific summaries and can I customize which roles receive which information?
Acta automatically generates separate summaries and action items tailored to predefined roles such as project managers, sales reps, or engineers. The output aligns with each stakeholder’s typical responsibilities, and you can map participants to these roles in the settings; custom role definitions are not mentioned, so you work with the provided role templates.
