Absolutely not. Dosu does not and will never train on your private data. Your data is stored in a secure, encrypted manner and is only used to provide you with the best possible experience.

How is Dosu different from internal knowledge bases like Confluence or Notion?

Unlike traditional knowledge bases, Dosu generates and maintains knowledge for you, meaning you can trust that the knowledge in Dosu is up-to-date. Dosu also integrates with Confluence and Notion, allowing you to import and export knowledge from and to them.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and cuts time spent on repetitive issue triage. Native GitHub integration fits neatly into how we already work, and documentation gap and accuracy checks removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on duplicate and related issue detection, and works directly inside GitHub workflows caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

No, installing the GitHub app grants Dosu access to the repositories, but has no user-facing impact. Once the app is installed, you can configure Dosu to your liking within the web app.
