What limitations does this MCP server have?

How do I set up mcp-server-perplexity with Claude Desktop?

First install Claude Desktop. Then edit its config file (on macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json; on Windows: APPDATA/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json) to add a "mcpServers" section with a "Perplexity" entry. Specify the command "uvx [mcp server perplexity]" and set the environment variable PERPLEXITY_API_KEY to your API key. After that, restart Claude Desktop to use the server.
