Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is streamlined shopping workflow — handled better than most — and saves time compared to manual browsing. Limited to participating brands and retailers is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: aI-driven deal search and fast deal discovery across multiple brands. Where it lags: limited to participating brands and retailers. On balance the feature set — especially streamlined shopping workflow — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Brand-focused filtering is exactly what I needed, and focuses on brands users actually care about. I do wish limited to participating brands and retailers, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Questions & réponses

Does Garnit read all my emails?

No. Only the emails in your Gmail Promotions tab are scanned — and only to extract deal-relevant info like brand names, dates, and discount codes.

Which email clients does Garnit work with?

Garnit currently supports Gmail. We are exploring support for other inboxes in the future.

Is my data secure?

We use OAuth2 for Gmail access, encrypt all tokens, and never store full email content. We're Google CASA Level 2 certified, complying with their strict security standards for third-party apps. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Why not read my promotional emails myself?

Reading promo emails yourself means digging through screenfuls of emails sorted by send time—not by deal quality. You have to open the email, hunt for the actual offer, find the expiration date, decode redemption rules, and remember to use it later. It's time-consuming and easy to miss great deals. Garnit makes it 10x better: • Know which brands have new deals without opening a single email. Click into only the brands you want to see, instead of scrolling through dozens of irrelevant emails. • Garnit surfaces top deals based on quality, not when they arrived. • Scan everything in one clean dashboard instead of a cluttered inbox. • Bookmark deals for later—Garnit keeps track of them for you so you don't have to.

How is Garnit different from coupon aggregators?

Garnit is different in three key ways: first, we're privacy-focused and never sell your data. Second, we're aligned with you—we don't make money from affiliate links, so we're not pushing you toward specific deals. Third, the best deals are already in your inbox. Brands and retailers send personalized offers directly to their subscribers—deals that coupon aggregators simply don't have access to. Garnit helps you unlock those exclusive, personalized savings that are unique to you.
