Overview

Thoughtly is an AI-powered communication platform that deploys voice agents capable of handling outbound and inbound interactions across phone, SMS, and email. The agents can qualify leads, follow up persistently, schedule appointments, and pass warm prospects to human reps. The platform is aimed at sales, marketing, and customer support teams that want to scale outreach without growing headcount. Conversations are tracked across channels so context carries over, and the agents can be configured with custom scripts, workflows, and integrations with CRMs and other tools. Thoughtly positions itself as an always-on extension of a revenue team, capable of running multi-touch campaigns and engaging contacts in a consistent voice until they respond or convert.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. AI voice agents for inbound and outbound calls is exactly what I needed, and configurable scripts and workflows. I do wish requires careful setup to avoid compliance issues, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is aI voice agents for inbound and outbound calls — handled better than most — and configurable scripts and workflows. Worth the time if this is your use case.

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is cross-channel campaigns spanning phone, SMS, and email — handled better than most — and multi-channel outreach across voice, SMS, and email. AI voice quality may not suit every brand is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Q&A

How does billing work for overages?

Usage above your plan's monthly allowances is billed in arrears at the end of each cycle. Nothing gets throttled or cut off mid-conversation — you'll see the line items on your invoice and we'll flag if usage suggests you've outgrown the tier.

Asked by Devin Walker · Feb 5, 2026

Are voice, SMS, and email priced separately?

No. Every plan includes all four channels (voice, SMS, email, workflows) and 200+ integrations. The price scales with combined usage volume, not per-channel taxes.

Asked by Sven Bergqvist · Jan 26, 2026

What languages does Thoughtly support?

34+ languages on voice, SMS, and email — including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, and more. Voice cloning currently supports a 15-language subset. [Full language list in our docs](https://docs.thoughtly.com/resources/faq#what-languages-does-thoughtly-support).

Can I bring my own phone numbers or carrier?

Yes. Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) is supported for Twilio and Telnyx on every plan, alongside numbers purchased directly through Thoughtly. Numbers can be local, national, mobile, or toll-free, with voice + SMS + MMS on the same line.

Asked by George Papadakis · Dec 6, 2025

Do you offer a pilot or trial?

Yes — most teams start with a 30–60 day pilot on Flex. We'll spec it, deploy your first agent, and prove ROI inside the pilot window before sizing up.
