Overview

Tailride is an AI accounting automation tool that helps businesses and accountants manage invoices and receipts. It connects to email inboxes and online portals to extract and reconcile invoice data, saving hundreds of hours of manual work. The tool is designed for accountants managing multiple clients and fast-growing companies looking to eliminate manual work for tax filings. Tailride's inbox scanning and online portal integrations allow it to find and extract invoices from various sources, including emails, PDFs, images, and URLs. The tool offers a native connection with email clients, including Gmail, Outlook, and IMAP, and allows users to connect their colleagues' inboxes to keep track of incoming invoices. Tailride also enables users to retroactively search for past invoices and scan paper receipts using its Telegram or WhatsApp bot. The tool's extension can extract invoices from over 20 apps, including Amazon, Meta Ads, and Adobe, without requiring users to give access to these portals. Tailride's automation capabilities help businesses forget about invoices, with 100% of invoices automatically captured and no more manual data entry required. The tool saves hundreds of hours every month and is trusted by teams worldwide. Its custom rules and workflows enable companies to set up tailored solutions for their specific needs. One of the key benefits of Tailride is its ability to simplify the invoice management process, eliminating the need for manual forwarding of invoices and reducing chaos at the end of the quarter. The tool's dashboard provides a clear overview of all invoices, making it easy for accountants and business owners to stay on top of their finances. In comparison to other receipt apps, Tailride offers a more comprehensive solution that goes beyond just processing receipt photos. Its AI processing and reconciliation capabilities make it an essential tool for businesses looking to streamline their accounting processes. However, Tailride may have limitations, such as requiring a connection to email inboxes and online portals, which may raise security concerns for some users. Additionally, the tool may not be suitable for small businesses or individuals with simple accounting needs, as it is designed for more complex accounting requirements. Tailride's workflow and integrations enable it to forward invoices to accounting tools or Google Drive, making it a seamless addition to existing accounting workflows. The tool's ability to invite colleagues to connect their inboxes and set up custom rules also makes it a versatile solution for businesses with unique accounting needs. Overall, Tailride is a powerful tool for businesses and accountants looking to automate their accounting processes and eliminate manual work. Its comprehensive features, custom rules, and seamless integrations make it an essential solution for streamlining accounting workflows.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. The dashboard is exactly what I needed, and it is genuinely easy to set up. I do wish the docs could be deeper, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on the dashboard, and support is responsive caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. The automation just works and it is genuinely easy to set up. The docs could be deeper can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and it is genuinely easy to set up. The dashboard fits neatly into how we already work, and the API removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is the onboarding — handled better than most — and support is responsive. A few rough edges remain is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Q&A

What sources can Tailride pull invoices and receipts from?

Tailride collects bills from two main sources: your email inbox and supplier or vendor portals. This means recurring invoices and receipts can be gathered automatically without you logging in and downloading them yourself.

Asked by Rina Desai · Jan 18, 2026

Can Tailride send the extracted invoice data to my accounting or finance tools?

Yes. Tailride is designed to forward processed invoices and receipts to other tools, so the captured data can flow into the systems you already use rather than staying siloed in Tailride itself.

Asked by Naomi Suzuki · Nov 29, 2025

What does Tailride actually do day-to-day?

Tailride automates invoice and receipt processing by collecting bills directly from your email and supplier portals, extracting the relevant data, reconciling statements, and forwarding the results to your downstream tools—removing the need to manually download, key in, or match documents.
