Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: audio-driven video synthesis and useful for social content and prototyping. On balance the feature set — especially image-to-video animation — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Text-to-video generation just works and no filming or editing skills required. Limited clip length per generation can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is prompt-based scene and motion control — handled better than most — and no filming or editing skills required. Limited clip length per generation is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Image-to-video animation is exactly what I needed, and useful for social content and prototyping. I do wish quality varies with prompt complexity, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Q&A

What are the main limitations I should know about before using it?

Clip length per generation is limited, output quality can vary depending on prompt complexity, and you get less fine-grained control than traditional editing software. It's better for short-form prototyping than polished long-form work.
