Overview

Roboto AI is a data platform built for robotics teams working with large volumes of multimodal log data, including sensor streams, video, telemetry, and event records. It helps engineers ingest, search, visualize, and analyze recordings from real-world deployments and simulations in one place. By applying AI to surface meaningful events and anomalies across logs, the platform aims to shorten debugging cycles, improve safety validation, and accelerate the path from prototype to production. Teams can use it to triage incidents, build datasets for model training, and track fleet behavior over time.

Key features

  • Multimodal log ingestion and storage
  • AI-assisted event and anomaly detection
  • Search and visualization across recordings
  • Dataset curation for ML training
  • Collaboration tools for engineering teams
  • APIs for custom analysis pipelines

Use cases

Debug Robot Incidents from Field Logs

Ingest multimodal logs from deployed robots and use AI-assisted event detection to quickly triage incidents and pinpoint root causes across sensor, video, and telemetry streams.

Curate Datasets for ML Training

Search and filter across large recording archives to extract relevant events and build high-quality training datasets for perception, planning, or control models.

Validate Safety Across Fleet Deployments

Track fleet behavior over time and surface anomalies in real-world and simulation logs to support safety validation workflows before pushing updates to production.

Custom Analysis via APIs

Use the platform's APIs to integrate Roboto into custom analysis pipelines, automating log processing and connecting results to internal engineering tooling.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Dataset curation for ML training just works and supports safety validation workflows. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on multimodal log ingestion and storage, and speeds up debugging and incident triage caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on aPIs for custom analysis pipelines, and supports safety validation workflows caught me off guard. Learning curve for teams new to log-driven workflows is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Q&A

What is Roboto?

Roboto is the analytics engine for Physical AI. We ingest every robotics log format and automate robotics data analysis so you can understand robot behavior, diagnose failures, and improve system performance.

Asked by Naomi Suzuki · Apr 23, 2026

How is Roboto different from a log visualizer?

Visualizers show you one log at a time. Roboto analyzes every log, flags the issues that matter, and lets you query patterns across your entire fleet. You start with the answer, not a timeline.

Asked by Omar Haddad · Apr 5, 2026

How does Roboto work?

Roboto reads your logs from your bucket or upload, indexes every topic and event, runs configurable agents and deterministic health checks against each one, and surfaces results. The same Python SDK powers ad-hoc analysis and production Actions.

Asked by Wolfgang Krause · Apr 4, 2026

Where is my data stored?

You choose. Connect an AWS S3 bucket and Roboto indexes and reads from it directly. For teams that prefer it, we also offer fully-managed storage in our cloud or your VPC.

Asked by Nadia Benali · Mar 23, 2026

How does Roboto handle enterprise security and deployment?

Roboto connects to your existing SSO over SAML or OIDC, with role-based controls that scope access by user, team, and dataset. Run Roboto in our cloud or self-hosted inside your own AWS environment. Every action is logged with retention windows you control, so the security and compliance posture your team already runs continues to apply.
