Q&A
Is there an optional Stop hook in Qf Init?
Yes, after detecting the stack and writing .qualflare/test-state.md, Qf Init can configure an optional Stop hook to terminate the setup process early if needed, though this feature is not mandatory for all projects.

What happens if my project has no recognizable root?
The skill will stop at step 1 and inform you that it cannot find a project root indicator. You must navigate to the correct directory containing a .git/, package.json, go.mod, etc., and rerun /qf init.

Can Qf Init handle monorepos?
Yes. It checks for workspace indicators such as npm/pnpm workspaces, pnpm workspace.yaml, multiple Go or Python modules in typical directories (apps/, services/, packages/, libs/), and automatically enumerates each package’s path and name for setup.

How does Qf Init detect the tech stack of my project?
Qf Init examines common manifest files (package.json, go.mod, pyproject.toml, Gemfile, pom.xml, etc.) in the project root and subpackages. It identifies supported languages and test frameworks based on these files and lists them in the generated .qualflare/test-state.md.
