Step 3: Update the investigation log as the user attempts to resolve the bug, including failed attempts to prevent future duplication of efforts. Step 4: When the bug is fixed, the record is completed by updating the status, adding root_cause, fix, files_changed, and prevention details. Step 5: Reusable solutions are graduated by adding an entry to bugs/_SOLUTIONS.yaml with tags for future matching.
