Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: examples spanning multiple visual styles and covers a range of styles and subjects. Where it lags: prompt categories may be uneven in depth. On balance the feature set — especially categorized prompt browsing — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Examples spanning multiple visual styles is exactly what I needed, and covers a range of styles and subjects. I do wish no built-in image generation, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Can I modify the prompts for client or commercial work?

Absolutely. The prompts in our gallery are designed as starting points. Feel free to adjust the wording, story elements, and style choices to fit your client's needs, brand guidelines, or personal preferences—don't just copy them word-for-word.

Asked by Bianca Ferreira · Mar 19, 2026

Which AI models work best with these prompts?

Most prompts here have been tested on current diffusion and video models like Nano Banana, Sora-style tools, and Veo-style generators. Even if you're using a different platform, the prompt structure and flow usually translate well with just a few tweaks.

Is Banana Prompts free to use?

Browsing and copying prompts is completely free. You also get a limited number of free image and video generations. Once you hit that limit, you'll need a paid plan to generate more. But the prompt library itself stays free forever.
