Overview

Lendtrain is a tool that provides AI-driven mortgage refinance rate checks and personalized savings analysis. It allows users to see today's mortgage refinance rates from wholesale lenders without requiring an application or credit check for a quote. To get an estimated rate, users enter their mortgage details, which are then matched with live wholesale rates for conventional and VA loans. The tool provides a breakdown of the potential monthly savings and breakeven timeline on closing costs, as well as total interest savings over the life of the loan. Lendtrain does not charge users to check their rate, and no hard inquiry is performed for a quote.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: estimated monthly and lifetime savings and personalized savings projections. On balance the feature set — especially estimated monthly and lifetime savings — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Loan scenario comparisons is exactly what I needed, and quick refinance rate comparisons. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is estimated monthly and lifetime savings — handled better than most — and quick refinance rate comparisons. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and easy-to-understand financial breakdowns. Loan scenario comparisons fits neatly into how we already work, and estimated monthly and lifetime savings removed a step we used to do by hand. May not cover all lenders or loan products, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Q&A

How Much Cash Can You Get From a Cash-Out Refinance?

A cash-out refinance replaces your current mortgage with a new loan. The cash available is based on your estimated home value, current payoff, closing costs, credit profile, and program limits. Lendtrain uses the numbers you enter to estimate your new loan amount and estimated cash to you. You can see the estimate before an application. The quote shows the new loan amount, current payoff, closing costs, and estimated cash to you so the math is easy to check.

Asked by Ivana Novak · Aug 7, 2025

How much could I save by refinancing?

It depends on your current rate, loan balance, and how long you plan to stay in your home. Our free rate check shows you an estimated monthly payment and how it stacks up against what you pay now — in about 30 seconds. Rate quotes are estimates based on the credit score you enter. Actual rates may differ.

Asked by Noelia Campos · Jul 23, 2025

Is there a fee to check my rate?

No. The rate check is completely free. We do not charge you anything to see your estimated rate and closing costs. If you decide to move forward with a refinance, standard closing costs apply — and we show you those upfront.

Asked by Tomáš Novák · Jun 17, 2025

Will checking my rate hurt my credit score?

No. We do not pull your credit to give you a rate quote. The rate check uses the credit score you enter to show you estimated rates. No hard inquiry is performed for your quote. Credit is pulled later if you choose to apply.

Asked by Nour Khalil · Jun 16, 2025

What types of loans can I refinance?
