KognitosAutomate business processes using plain English instructions powered by AI.

4.3 (6)

Overview

Kognitos is a business automation platform that lets users describe workflows in natural language instead of writing code. Its AI interprets plain English instructions to automate tasks across documents, applications, and back-office processes, making automation accessible to non-technical teams. The platform is designed for operations like invoice processing, order management, and data extraction, where rules and exceptions are common. When Kognitos encounters something unfamiliar, it can ask clarifying questions and learn from the response, building reusable logic over time. Targeted at enterprises looking to reduce reliance on traditional RPA, Kognitos blends generative AI with process automation to handle both structured and unstructured work within a single conversational interface.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Exception handling with human-in-the-loop just works and learns and reuses logic over time. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: aI-driven document understanding and learns and reuses logic over time. Where it lags: enterprise focus may not fit small teams. On balance the feature set — especially reusable automation building blocks — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Reusable automation building blocks is exactly what I needed, and handles exceptions through clarifying questions. I do wish best results require well-defined inputs, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and suited for document-heavy workflows. Integrations with business applications fits neatly into how we already work, and integrations with business applications removed a step we used to do by hand. Learning curve for complex processes, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Q&A

What is Kognitos?

Kognitos is a neurosymbolic agentic AI platform for enterprise automation. It lets finance, accounts payable, healthcare, IT, and operations teams automate complex, document-heavy workflows by describing them in plain English. Unlike probabilistic AI tools, Kognitos executes every business rule deterministically, guaranteeing zero hallucinations, a complete audit trail, and full compliance. Kognitos is recognized by Gartner and trusted by enterprises including PepsiCo and Wipro.

Asked by Willa Thompson · Nov 23, 2025

Which industries and workflows does Kognitos serve?

Kognitos automates back-office and operational workflows across finance and accounting (accounts payable, 3-way match, reconciliations, order-to-cash), healthcare (claims, prior authorization, patient operations), banking and financial services, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, procurement, IT operations, and customer support. Any process that involves reading documents, applying business rules, and updating enterprise systems can be automated in plain English.

Asked by Thandiwe Dlamini · Nov 4, 2025

What is agentic AI?

Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that can autonomously plan, execute, and adapt multi-step workflows on behalf of users. Unlike traditional chatbots that only answer questions, agentic AI takes action, orchestrating tasks across enterprise systems, handling exceptions, and completing end-to-end business processes. Kognitos is a leading agentic AI platform purpose-built for mission-critical business automation.

How is neurosymbolic AI different from LLMs?

Large Language Models (LLMs) generate probabilistic outputs and can hallucinate, producing confident but incorrect answers. Neurosymbolic AI combines the natural-language understanding of LLMs with a deterministic symbolic execution engine that enforces rules exactly as written. Kognitos's patented neurosymbolic architecture guarantees 0% hallucination by separating intent interpretation from rule execution, making it safe for finance, healthcare, and other regulated workflows.

Asked by Malik Rasheed · Oct 17, 2025

What is hallucination-free AI automation?

Hallucination-free AI automation means every automated step executes exactly as the business rule specifies, no fabricated data, no skipped steps, no improvised logic. Kognitos achieves this through its Symbolic Executor, a deterministic engine that cannot deviate from the rules defined in plain English. Every decision is auditable and explainable.
