Overview

Frase is an AI-powered platform built for content teams and SEO professionals who need to research, outline, write, and optimize articles around target keywords. It analyzes top-ranking search results to surface the topics, questions, and headings that need coverage, then helps assemble briefs and drafts in a single workflow. The tool combines SERP analysis with AI writing features, letting users generate outlines, paragraphs, and full drafts grounded in competitor research. A content optimization score guides editors toward better topical coverage before publishing. Frase fits agencies, in-house marketing teams, and freelancers looking to shorten the path from keyword research to a publish-ready draft.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Topic and keyword optimization scoring is exactly what I needed, and combines SERP research with AI writing. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and topic score guides on-page optimization. Team collaboration on documents fits neatly into how we already work, and topic and keyword optimization scoring removed a step we used to do by hand. AI output still needs human editing, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is outline and heading suggestions — handled better than most — and useful for scaling content production. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Q&A

What if you saw it slip the same day, and Frase already had the fix?

Frase checks the AI answers in your category every day. The moment a competitor takes your spot, or a ranking page starts to slide, you get an alert and a fix to approve, not a surprise weeks later. You stop finding out last.

Asked by Margaret Whitfield · Jun 12, 2026

Which CMS platforms does Frase publish to?

Frase publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, and Wix, or hosts your content on FraseCMS. No migration required, and your content stays on your own domain.

Asked by Olamide Fashola · Jun 10, 2026

Does Frase monitor whether AI cites me?

Yes. AI Visibility tracks where you show up across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI on a daily cadence, and alerts you when your share of voice moves. AI Visibility is a separate feature from Content Guard.

Asked by Dara Fitzgerald · May 16, 2026

Does Frase fix pages automatically?

Content Guard watches your published pages for ranking and traffic decay in Google and drafts the fix. You approve each change. You can opt in to let Frase apply low-risk fixes automatically, but that stays your call.

Asked by Vera Nováková · Apr 19, 2026

How does Frase know my brand?

Frase builds a brand profile from your existing content and voice, then runs live SERP and competitor analysis. The draft comes back sounding like your team and built to hold its own against the brands you compete with, not like a generic model with your name on it.
