Overview

The Email Report skill is a security-tested data-ai capability for Claude AI, graded A, that auto-generates weekly or monthly email performance reports in three formats: Slack update, CEO email, and board-deck section, using real ESP data. It aims to save time for email marketers by pulling numbers, charting trends, explaining variances, and writing commentary in the appropriate voice for different audiences. The skill requires Cogny MCP and a connected ESP (Email Service Provider) like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Rule, or Get a Newsletter. It can be invoked with specific commands to generate reports for different periods and formats, such as '/email-report monthly report, all three formats' or '/email-report weekly slack'. The process involves defining the period, pulling data through ESP-specific tool adapters, computing report metrics, and then outputting the reports. The skill supports various ESPs, with capabilities including fetching campaign broadcasts, flow metrics, list-level metrics, and revenue attribution where available. It's designed for users who need to regularly report on email performance to stakeholders.

Q&A

What's the difference between Solo and Cloud?

Solo ($9/mo) gives you prompt-driven AI marketing with your own Claude. MCP is unmetered under fair use, so you can drive Cogny from Claude, ChatGPT, or any client without burning credits. In-app chat and image generation run on top-up credits. One channel at a time, all skills included. Cloud ($499/mo) adds 2000 AI credits per month that cover chat too, plus parallel execution across all channels, image generation, scheduled jobs, daily briefs, shared team workspace, organisational memory, custom report templates, Truth Ledger, and priority support.

Asked by Zain Malik · Jun 7, 2026

How do Cloud credits work?

Your $499/mo Cloud plan includes 2000 AI credits each month — covering chat, MCP calls, image generation, and other AI usage. When you run out, you can top up extra credits ($20, $50, $100, or $200) that roll over indefinitely, or wait for the next billing cycle when your monthly credits reset.

Asked by Wei Chen · May 30, 2026

Can I upgrade from Solo to Cloud?

Yes. Your existing data, conversations, and history carry over seamlessly. The upgrade takes effect immediately and you're only charged the prorated difference for the current billing period.

Asked by Tobias Hartmann · Mar 20, 2026

Can I buy extra credits on Solo too?

Yes. On Solo, MCP usage stays unmetered under fair use, so driving Cogny from your own AI client never costs credits. In-app chat, image generation, and other opt-in expensive operations run on top-up credits ($20, $50, $100, or $200, rolling over indefinitely), which you can buy whenever you want to use them.

Asked by Umar Farooq · Mar 14, 2026

Can I try it before paying?

Yes — every new workspace gets 15 free MCP calls to test the stack. No credit card required. Once you've used them up (or the next month rolls over), you can upgrade to Solo at $9/mo or Cloud at $499/mo, or wait for the next 15 free calls to land.
