Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: dLP, audit logs, and usage monitoring and strong focus on enterprise security and governance. On balance the feature set — especially admin console for deployment and policy management — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.
Solid for our team
We rolled this out across the team last quarter and broad library of prebuilt SaaS integrations. Secure connectors to internal data and SaaS tools fits neatly into how we already work, and multi-model support across major LLM providers removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.
Skeptical, then convinced
I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on admin console for deployment and policy management, and strong focus on enterprise security and governance caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
Use it every day
Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Role-based access controls and permissions is exactly what I needed, and supports multiple LLM providers. I do wish setup and configuration require IT involvement, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
Q&A
Do you offer a pilot or proof of concept?
Yes. Most customers start with a time-boxed pilot focused on a specific team or use case. We define success criteria upfront, and our onboarding team supports you throughout. Most pilots reach their first meaningful outcome within a few weeks.

Can we bring our own AI models?
Yes. Credal is model-agnostic. You can connect your own Azure OpenAI deployment, self-hosted open-source models, or use Credal's managed access to frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and others. You're never locked into a single provider.
Asked by Oscar Lindqvist · Sep 22, 2025
How does Credal handle data access and permissions?
Credal automatically inherits and enforces your existing data permissions. If a user doesn't have access to a document in Google Drive or Confluence, they won't see it in Credal either, enforced at query time, not just at ingestion.
