Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: team sharing of automations and reusable and shareable automations. Where it lags: less flexible than custom-coded automations. On balance the feature set — especially team sharing of automations — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
Solid for our team
We rolled this out across the team last quarter and reusable and shareable automations. Workflow playback and replay fits neatly into how we already work, and quick deployment of recorded tasks removed a step we used to do by hand. May require cleanup or editing after recording, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
Does the job
Pretty happy overall. No-code interface just works and no-code, record-based workflow creation. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Years in this space
I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is editable automation steps — handled better than most — and accessible to non-technical users. Worth the time if this is your use case.
Q&A
Is CopyCat for commercial lines only?
No. CopyCat handles proposal generation for commercial and personal lines, along with quote comparison and risk analysis. For employee benefits teams, it turns carrier quotes into Excel-ready market summaries, contribution sheets, and other workbooks.

How does pricing work?
A flat monthly fee. No annual contract, no lock-in. You can leave whenever. We care more about solving the problem in front of you than about the pricing structure.

What does support actually look like?
You reach the team directly instead of a ticket queue. Most replies come back within minutes, and our commitment is to resolve product issues within reasonable time. Most of the time its within a day.
Asked by Ximena Torres · Sep 15, 2025
Will it invent details or hallucinate coverage?
No. The proposal only contains data pulled from your actual policy. Every number traces back to its source page.
Asked by Ulla Nielsen · Sep 7, 2025
How branded can the proposal get?
One-to-one with your existing format: logo, colors, section structure. About 80 percent is standard; the remaining 20 percent is set during onboarding. CopyCat does the configuration, not your team.
