What happens if I close the browser tab after the MCP server is configured?

Closing the tab ends the coauthoring session, which stops the MCP server’s communication. As a result, compile_canvas and sync_canvas commands will fail and you won’t see or be able to save generated changes.

Can I use this skill with any Power Apps environment?

It supports multiple environments, but only those recognized by its hostname‑to‑category table (e.g., prod, preprod, gov, high, dod, china). Environments outside this list are treated as test and may not be fully supported.

How does the skill obtain the information it needs from my studio URL?

It parses the URL to extract ENV_ID (the segment after "/e/"), APP_ID (the decoded app id query value), MAKER_HOSTNAME, and determines the ENVIRONMENT_CATEGORY based on the hostname. These parameters are then used to register and connect the MCP server.
