Overview

ClearWork Discovery Agent is an AI-driven tool designed to map business processes and identify automation opportunities without lengthy stakeholder interviews or workshops. By observing how work actually gets done across applications, it builds an accurate picture of existing workflows and surfaces candidates for automation. The agent aims to compress traditional discovery timelines from months to hours, helping operations and automation teams move directly from analysis to implementation. Outputs are structured so they can feed into downstream automation builders, RPA platforms, or internal documentation. It is intended for enterprises, automation centers of excellence, and consultants who need to scale process discovery efforts without the overhead of manual mapping sessions.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is rapid time-to-insight — handled better than most — and surfaces automation candidates automatically. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: automation opportunity identification and dramatically reduces process discovery time. On balance the feature set — especially aI-powered process discovery — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and surfaces automation candidates automatically. Automated workflow mapping fits neatly into how we already work, and aI-powered process discovery removed a step we used to do by hand. Enterprise focus may not fit small teams, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Q&A

Not sure which one you are?

If you invoice a client for the work, you're the project model. If the work is for your own organisation, you're the user model. If you genuinely do both — some firms run internal transformation and client delivery — tell us on a call and we'll work out which is cheaper for your mix.

Asked by Dovid Klein · May 31, 2026

Is there an annual commitment?

No. Both plans are monthly and you can cancel any time. We'd rather earn the next month than lock you into twelve.

Asked by Lindiwe Mahlangu · May 18, 2026

Can we add or remove users as things change?

Yes. Internal team licences flex month to month as initiatives start and finish. Consulting projects can be paused, archived and reactivated as engagements come and go.

Asked by Rasheed Osman · May 18, 2026

Are interview participants really free?

Yes, on both plans, with no cap. Employees, client stakeholders and SMEs who answer an AI interview, record a walkthrough, or review read‑only material cost nothing. This is deliberate. If reaching one more person costs money, teams stop reaching people — and the whole point is to hear from those who'd never make the workshop.

Asked by Pierre Dubois · Apr 28, 2026

What happens when a project ends?

Billing stops after the current cycle. Archive the project and the record stays intact — reactivate it if the client comes back for a phase two and everything is where you left it. You're not paying to store finished work.
