Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on zero-access encrypted storage, and strong end-to-end encryption by default caught me off guard. Encryption with outside contacts needs extra steps is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is password-protected messages to non-users — handled better than most — and anonymous signup without phone number. Advanced features may require a paid plan is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and clean, familiar email interface. Anonymous account creation fits neatly into how we already work, and anonymous account creation removed a step we used to do by hand. Encryption with outside contacts needs extra steps, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
