Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on prior art and claim analysis, and covers both prosecution and litigation use cases caught me off guard. Narrow focus on IP law limits broader legal use is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is document drafting and review — handled better than most — and can reduce time spent on repetitive analysis. Narrow focus on IP law limits broader legal use is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: agentic multi-step task execution and agentic execution of multi-step tasks. Where it lags: requires expert oversight for accuracy. On balance the feature set — especially litigation workflow assistance — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

How does billing work?

All plans include access to the same &AI platform. Pay as you go customers purchase credits at a standard rate. Pro includes a monthly or annual credit bundle at a lower effective credit rate, with additional credits available after the included amount. Payments are processed through Stripe. Enterprise pricing is customized for larger teams, security requirements, and volume usage.

Asked by Vera Nováková · Aug 30, 2025

Do all plans include the same platform access?

Yes. All plans include access to the same core &AI platform. Plans differ by how credits are purchased, the credit rate, and Enterprise options like SSO, RBAC, deployment, support, and invoicing.

Asked by Noelia Campos · Aug 12, 2025

What counts as a credit?

Credits pay for AI and compute-intensive actions in &AI, including processing documents, searching for prior art, creating claim charts, and chatting with Andy, the AI patent assistant. Each action consumes credits based on the operation type, configuration, and amount of content processed.
