Overview

AI Product Photography is a tool for ecommerce sellers and online stores that uses generative AI to create product images from a single photo upload. It can generate various types of images, including studio white photos, lifestyle shots, model-led scenes, product infographics, and ad-ready crops. The tool allows sellers to upload a product photo, choose a template, and review the generated images for product fidelity before downloading or scaling them. It can replace routine ecommerce images, especially white background photos, lifestyle scenes, and ad crops, but not all images require the same level of accuracy, such as regulated products, labels, jewelry, and reflective packaging.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is bulk image processing for catalogs — handled better than most — and lower cost per image for large catalogs. AI output may need touch-ups for premium brands is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: ecommerce-ready output formats and easy to iterate on backgrounds and scenes. On balance the feature set — especially bulk image processing for catalogs — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Ecommerce-ready output formats is exactly what I needed, and faster than booking a traditional photo shoot. I do wish aI output may need touch-ups for premium brands, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
