Overview

The AI Floor Plan Generator is an AI-powered tool for generating architectural floor plans from simple inputs. It works by allowing users to describe their spatial requirements in plain language, and then using AI to generate professional floor plans. The tool employs multimodal understanding technology to deeply analyze the design intent and apply domain expertise to transform the creative vision into an actionable design proposal. Key features include text-to-floor plan conversion, floor plan optimization, and fast delivery of high-quality floor plan files. Users can describe their space in natural language and get professional floor plans instantly, without requiring any CAD experience. The AI Floor Plan Generator supports professional drafting standards, including ISO 128, AIA/NCS, and GB/T 50104, making it suitable for use in project proposals, client presentations, and construction references.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Export options for further editing just works and saves time in early planning stages. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Export options for further editing is exactly what I needed, and useful for exploring multiple options. I do wish not a substitute for licensed architects, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on input-based room configuration, and low barrier to entry for non-designers caught me off guard. Limited control over fine details is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and saves time in early planning stages. Export options for further editing fits neatly into how we already work, and input-based room configuration removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Q&A

How long does it take to generate a floor plan?

Typically, generation takes only seconds to minutes, with the exact duration depending on design complexity. Compared to traditional CAD software requiring hours or even days of manual drafting, the AI Floor Plan Generator boosts design efficiency by a factor of tens. You can monitor generation progress in real time, preview and download the finished product immediately, significantly shortening project timelines and freeing up more time to focus on creativity and scheme optimisation.
