Overview

Voxworks develops AI voice agents designed for Australian businesses operating in regulated, conversation-heavy industries. Its agents handle outbound and inbound phone interactions for market research surveys, insurance workflows, and financial services customer engagement. The platform aims to scale voice-based operations that traditionally rely on large call centre teams, offering consistent, around-the-clock conversations with natural-sounding speech. Voxworks positions itself as a local alternative tuned to Australian accents, compliance expectations, and industry-specific scripts. Typical use cases include running quantitative survey campaigns, qualifying insurance leads, following up on policy renewals, and assisting with financial services customer support tasks.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Inbound call handling and qualification is exactly what I needed, and australian-based provider with local context. I do wish voice AI may need tuning for complex queries, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is outbound survey and research calling — handled better than most — and australian-based provider with local context. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Inbound call handling and qualification just works and scales voice operations without growing headcount. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: aI voice agents for phone conversations and handles both inbound and outbound calls. Where it lags: voice AI may need tuning for complex queries. On balance the feature set — especially natural Australian-accented speech — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Q&A

Why AI Voice?

Despite the plethora of digital communication tools available today, a phone call is the only mode of interaction with customers where you can guarantee an immediate response. Voice conversations are our natural "user interface" and are extremely efficient in terms of information flow and response time. AI now offers the ability to automate voice conversations, making it possible to handle large volumes of calls with minimal human intervention.

As a business, how can Voxworks improve my profitability?

By letting AI handle routine calls, you can spend more time on high-value interactions, such as building client relationships and closing deals. Voxworks acts as a filter for the calls you no longer need to make. Voxworks can improve the quality of your intel and drive improved campaign results. Voxworks can be used as a low-cost form of lead generation and follow-up with leads that may not ordinarily be called. Overall, you have more time, more clients and better campaign results. This can all be achieved at a lower cost than expanding your team's resources.

Can Voxworks be used as my CRM?

No, Voxworks is designed to work alongside your main CRM to enhance the AI capabilities of your existing tech stack. We are focused on delivering the best possible AI voice experience. Our UI is designed to integrate with your CRM so that our bots are informed with enough context of your campaigns to have intelligent conversations with prospects.

Does AI voice actually work in practice?

Our users are surprised when they first hear the quality and intelligence of our bots. AI voice technology has evolved significantly in the last 12 months to the point where it is now deployable in a commercial setting and nearly indistinguishable from human operators. In the near future, nearly all B2C communications will be handled by AI so that it will not feel out of place and may even be preferred.

Asked by Willa Thompson · Jun 3, 2026

Can I create my own AI voice agents in Voxworks?

Yes, however Voxworks provides all call scripts as templates based on typical conversation patterns and workflows. Voxworks handles the complexity for deploying AI voice in a professional setting. We design each bot with proprietary AI prompting techniques that are specific to the industry, the underlying AI model used and then subject to extensive use case testing. Whilst it is possible for users to create their own underlying AI agents, our premium tier offers a custom AI agent design service where we work with your team to design a custom template unique to your company's requirements.
