Overview

Taskade Open Source is the publicly available GitHub presence for Taskade, a platform that combines task management, real-time collaboration, and AI agents into a unified workspace. The repository hosts community-facing resources, integrations, examples, and developer tooling that extend the core Taskade product. Developers and teams can explore the codebase to better understand how Taskade structures AI workflows, automations, and multi-agent coordination. It serves as a reference point for those building on top of Taskade's APIs or contributing improvements back to the ecosystem. Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and encourages community contributions. Transparency into select platform components fits neatly into how we already work, and public GitHub repository removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: resources for developers building on Taskade and encourages community contributions. Where it lags: not a full self-hosted Taskade alternative. On balance the feature set — especially aI workflow examples and templates — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Community issue tracking and discussions is exactly what I needed, and encourages community contributions. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is community issue tracking and discussions — handled better than most — and insight into Taskade's AI workflow architecture. Requires technical knowledge to use effectively is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on aI workflow examples and templates, and free and publicly accessible on GitHub caught me off guard. Not a full self-hosted Taskade alternative is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
