Overview

Sales Layer PIM is a cloud-based product information management platform that helps brands, retailers, and manufacturers organize and distribute product data across their sales channels. It uses AI to automate time-consuming catalog tasks like content generation, quality control, categorization, and multilingual translation, effectively acting as a virtual product data team. The platform centralizes specifications, images, and marketing copy in a single source of truth, then syndicates that information to ecommerce sites, marketplaces, ERPs, and print catalogs through connectors and APIs. Built-in quality scoring flags missing or inconsistent data so teams can ship complete, channel-ready listings faster. It is aimed at mid-market and enterprise teams managing large or growing catalogs who need to reduce manual data work, improve listing accuracy, and accelerate time-to-market across regions and channels.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Channel syndication and connectors just works and quality scoring highlights incomplete data. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Channel syndication and connectors is exactly what I needed, and centralized source of truth for product data. I do wish advanced features have a learning curve, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is channel syndication and connectors — handled better than most — and quality scoring highlights incomplete data. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on aPI and integration with ERP/ecommerce systems, and scales well for large catalogs caught me off guard. Advanced features have a learning curve is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
