Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Custom AI character creation is exactly what I needed, and strong emphasis on user privacy. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on personalized personality settings, and customizable AI characters caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is companion-style interaction — handled better than most — and strong emphasis on user privacy. Limited public information on capabilities is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Nothing. Your conversations, personalities, and models live on your device and never depended on a plan. Cancel and the entire local app keeps working exactly as before.

How does the usage allowance work?

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of online-model usage that resets on the 1st. Model rates include a small margin over provider list prices - that's the whole business model.

Why is local free? What's the catch?

No catch: local inference runs on your hardware, so it costs us nothing to give you. We charge only where we carry a real cost - passing requests to online model providers.

Only for paid plans. The account is a Flowsta account, and the free app never asks for one.
