Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is review and edit plans before execution — handled better than most — and reviewable steps reduce risky AI edits. Less suited for tiny one-line edits is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: aI-generated implementation plans and handles multi-file and cross-cutting changes. Where it lags: planning step adds upfront overhead. On balance the feature set — especially iDE and workflow integration — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Review and edit plans before execution is exactly what I needed, and handles multi-file and cross-cutting changes. I do wish less suited for tiny one-line edits, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and plan-first approach improves transparency. IDE and workflow integration fits neatly into how we already work, and multi-file change orchestration removed a step we used to do by hand.
