Does the job
Pretty happy overall. Generative scene and dynamics modeling just works and useful for embodied AI and simulation research. Limited public tooling and documentation can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Happy Oyster operates in two modes. Directing Mode lets users act as real-time directors — steering scenes for up to three minutes at 480p or 720p through text, voice, or image instructions, with the world responding instantly without restarting. Wandering Mode places users in a first-person generated environment they can explore freely with WASD and camera controls for up to one minute at 480p, with the world expanding procedurally as they move while maintaining consistent physics and spatial structure throughout.
