Yes. Any command that reads queries, fetches logs, calls an external service, or produces potentially large output—such as aws, kubectl, docker, terraform, gh, and many others—will automatically be routed through ctx_execute or ctx_execute_file.

Which commands can still be run directly in Bash?

Only a limited whitelist of safe Bash operations is allowed, including file mutations (mkdir, mv, cp, rm, touch, chmod), Git commands (add, commit, push, checkout, branch, merge), navigation (cd, pwd, which), simple output (echo, printf), and package installs (npm install, pip install). Everything else defaults to context‑mode tools.
