What happens if my schema has drifted or a file is missing?

If a referenced table or column is not in schema.md, Prod Debug will flag it and suggest running /prod-debug bootstrap to rebuild the files. Missing data files will be noted, but the skill will proceed with whatever is available.

Can I use Prod Debug to inspect container logs and perform container operations?

Yes. The skill reads containers.md to know service names and provides common commands: docker logs {service} tail 100 f, docker exec it {service} sh/bash, and docker restart {service}. SSH to production can be done via the alias in prod env.md.

How does Prod Debug help with database queries?

It pre-loads the DB schema into memory, so you can build SQL queries directly without running \"\d\" or INFORMATION_SCHEMA queries. It also prefixes queries with the SSH/docker exec command if they target a remote production database.

What files are required for Prod Debug to work and how do I set it up?

You need a .claude/prod-debug/config.json at your project root. After creating it, run /prod-debug bootstrap to generate schema.md and containers.md from your source files. Once these files exist, /prod-debug will load them and enter debugging mode.
