Kagimcp requires a Kagi API key (OAuth2 is not yet supported) and some tools like `kagi_fastgpt` and `kagi_summarizer` have been temporarily removed; they are planned for a future release.

What kinds of content can I search or extract with Kagimcp?

Kagimcp supports web, news, video, podcast, and image searches via `kagi_search_fetch`, with optional page extracts, filters, and Kagi lenses. It also offers `kagi_extract` to retrieve a page’s full content as Markdown.

Can I run Kagimcp on my own infrastructure?

How do I connect my AI assistant to Kagimcp?

Add your Kagi API key to the environment variable KAGI_API_KEY and point your MCP‑compatible client to the hosted server at https://mcp.kagi.com/mcp (or to a self‑hosted instance). The client will then use Bearer authentication to call the kagi_search_fetch and kagi_extract tools.
