Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and keeps sensitive media out of the Camera Roll. Export controls for sharing fits neatly into how we already work, and face ID / passcode access removed a step we used to do by hand. IOS only, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Export controls for sharing just works and keeps sensitive media out of the Camera Roll. Encrypted files aren't accessible to other apps without export can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Relies on user remembering credentials, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on separate storage from the iOS Photos library, and captures directly into an encrypted vault caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is private capture without intermediate previews — handled better than most — and authentication required to view content. Limited editing features compared to stock camera is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.
