Can we finetune LFMs?

Yes. We have built an on-prem LFM customization stack available for purchase to enterprises. LFMs can be rapidly fine-tuned, specialized, and optimized for local, private, safety-critical, and latency-bound use cases for enterprise applications – all within the security of your enterprise firewall.

As an enterprise, can we purchase full local access to Liquid Foundation Models (LFMs)?

Yes. Get in touch with our team to license or purchase LFMs from our library of best-in-class models. LFMs also come with two software stacks for deployment and customization: 1) LFM inference stack and 2) LFM customization stack. We currently prioritize working with clients on enabling edge and on-prem use cases. Connect with our team to learn more.

They are open weight. This means the model weights are publicly available for download, local deployment, and commercial use. This is different from open source, which would include releasing the full training code, data, and methodology. See our pricing for options or get in touch with us for questions.

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is the integrations — handled better than most — and the value for money is strong. Pricing gets steep at scale is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on the dashboard, and it is genuinely easy to set up caught me off guard. A few rough edges remain is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Does Liquid offer any self-service enterprise packages?

We do not currently offer a hosted API of our own. We offer certain models on playground (free with rate limits) and Openrouter (paid with higher limits). For businesses looking to further build self-service with our models, all of our models are available for direct download on Hugging Face. In addition, the majority of our models are offered for customization and deployment through our LEAP platform. If you would like customized support please get in touch with our sales team.

All organizations who wish to use LFMs for commercial should get in touch with our sales team to define terms. We offer custom pricing based on use case for businesses generating more than $10M per year in annual revenue. We offer exemptions for organizations that do not exceed $10M in annual revenue each year.
