The tool is limited to native macOS integration via EventKit, so it only works on macOS and only interacts with Apple Reminders and Calendar. It cannot manage other task or calendar services.

Yes, mcp-server-apple-reminders is an MCP server that exposes a standardized interface usable by any MCP client. It also ships a pre-built Swift CLI binary (event) that can be used directly or built from source with pnpm. No separate brew install is needed.
