I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is portfolio-building exercises — handled better than most — and hands-on projects included. Limited to data engineering domain is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: community and mentorship support and hands-on projects included. Where it lags: not a general-purpose AI tool. On balance the feature set — especially structured data engineering courses — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Portfolio-building exercises is exactly what I needed, and interview and placement guidance. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and covers modern data engineering tools. Coverage of cloud and big data tools fits neatly into how we already work, and community and mentorship support removed a step we used to do by hand. Not a general-purpose AI tool, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
