Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: organized folders and tagging and cross-device sync across desktop and mobile. Where it lags: fewer collaboration features than larger competitors. On balance the feature set — especially cloud sync across devices — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.
Skeptical, then convinced
I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on export and publish to multiple formats, and mind map view for visual outlining caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: aI-assisted writing and editing and clean, distraction-free writing interface. On balance the feature set — especially automatic mind map generation from outlines — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.
Use it every day
Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Organized folders and tagging is exactly what I needed, and cross-device sync across desktop and mobile. I do wish fewer collaboration features than larger competitors, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

How can I empty my trash?
On the left sidebar, right‑click the trash can button and choose 'Empty Trash...' This will permanently delete all items in the trash; they cannot be restored.

I accidentally deleted a sheet or a folder. Where can I find it?
On the left sidebar, click the trash can button to view your deleted sheets and folders. Note that permanently deleted items cannot be retrieved.

Is there a limit to the number of texts or sheets I can create?
There is no limit. You can create an unlimited number of texts or sheets and write as much as you want.

How can I use Effie offline?
We strongly recommend not using Effie offline. If you must, make sure to back up your sheets manually before going back online to avoid any problems.
