Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and fully open-source and self-hostable. Visual conversation flow editor fits neatly into how we already work, and built-in NLU engine removed a step we used to do by hand. Self-hosting requires technical setup, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Pretty happy overall. Content and knowledge management just works and multi-channel and plugin extensible. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Do I need a license key?

Community is self-hosted and does not require a license key. Starter includes 3 activations, Pro includes 10 activations, and Unlimited includes 25 activations. Enterprise activation limits are custom.

Yes. You can move from Community to Starter, then upgrade to Pro, Unlimited, or Enterprise as users, workflows, or deployment activations grow.

Do you bill for messages or workflow executions?

No. Hexabot does not bill by message volume or workflow execution count. Plan quotas still apply for users, workflows, and license activations. Projects and integrations are not capped by plan.

What does Unlimited mean?

Unlimited means unlimited workflows within fair use, with a 25-user quota and 25 license activations included. Projects and integrations are not capped by plan. Operational safeguards protect service reliability, and legitimate high-growth teams can request higher limits instead of being forced into quota anxiety.
