Pro

  • Eingebettete, natives Multimodal-Eingabe für Text, Bild, Audio und Video
  • Sehr großes Kontextfenster für langen Texten
  • Tiefe Integration mit Google Workspace und Cloud
  • Mehrere Modellgrößen für unterschiedliche Kosten- und Latenzbedürfnisse

Contra

  • Ausgabequalität kann zwischen den Modellstufen variieren
  • Einige fortgeschrittene Funktionen erfordern kostenpflichtige Pläne
  • Verfügbarkeit und Einschränkungen differieren nach Region

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. API access via Google AI Studio and Vertex AI is exactly what I needed, and very large context window for long documents. I do wish output quality can vary between model tiers, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is long-context processing of large inputs — handled better than most — and native multimodal input across text, image, audio, and video. Some advanced features require paid plans is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Workspace integrations in Docs, Gmail, and more is exactly what I needed, and multiple model sizes for different cost and latency needs. I do wish output quality can vary between model tiers, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on mixture-of-Experts model architecture, and tight integration with Google Workspace and Cloud caught me off guard. Some advanced features require paid plans is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Fragen & Antworten

Are there limits or regional restrictions on Gemini’s availability?

Availability and usage limits can vary by region, and some advanced features (e.g., higher‑tier model capabilities) require paid plans; users should check Google’s regional availability documentation for specific restrictions.

Asked by Jasper Vermeer · Feb 13, 2026

What integrations does Gemini offer for developers and enterprises?

Gemini is accessible via the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Vertex AI, and it integrates natively with Google Workspace apps like Docs, Gmail, and Sheets, enabling seamless use in cloud‑based workflows and custom applications.

Asked by Celia Ramirez · Feb 4, 2026

Can Gemini handle large documents or long media files?

Yes, Gemini’s long‑context windows allow processing of very large inputs—up to 128 k tokens for some models—making it suitable for analyzing long documents, extensive codebases, or hours of audio/video.

Asked by Amara Chukwu · Dec 27, 2025

How is Gemini priced for API usage?

Gemini charges per token with separate rates for input and output. For example, the Gemini 3.6 Flash model costs $1.50 per 1M input tokens and $7.50 per 1M output tokens; other tiers have different rates as listed in the pricing table.
